Welcome!
The Bob Mendelsohn Website

Here it is… the all in one place, official website of Bob Mendelsohn. Who is he? American? Aussie? Pickleball or tennis or golf? KC Chiefs or Sydney Swans? And what about Jewish or Christian… which is it? Find all those answers here.

And while you are at it, enjoy his photos from around the globe, his podcasts with interesting guests of all ages and interests, read his blog, and so much more.

And if you miss this, you aren’t really listening. Bob wants to hear from you. About anything. Everyone can have 5 minutes of his day, any day. (Maybe not 6, but you never know)

What I Do

Pouring my life into a chart seems strange. We all do many things, personal, private, corporate, shared with others, family, work, sport... this is the beginning of the unpack.

I Coach.

I love to help people hear from God. Your personal connection with the Almighty is the most important link I could ever make for anyone. I’d like to help you get in touch with Him, to ask questions, to argue, to learn and to say at the end of the day, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.”

I Speak.

Most weekends, I’m out and about often across the country, sharing what I believe from the Scriptures. I teach in Bible colleges and messianic congregations and churches of all denominations. Through the podcast and here on the website ‘speaking’ happens also!

I Write.

My testimony booklet was printed in 1999, and God has been very active in my life for 70+ years, so there are more books coming.

Current writings include essays and sermons in manuscript, blogs and updates on social media. Pithy is good; any length is ok with me.

My Story

I live half the year in Sydney, Australia. Spring  and summer.

I live half the year in Nashville, Tennessee. Spring and summer.

So if it’s warm, that’s where I am. With my wife of 48 years, and nearby are either my son and his family or my two daughters and their families.

I grew up in Kansas City. Academically I attended Washington University in St Louis, then the University of Kansas and Fuller Seminary. I’m still learning, most days.

My folks were born in Kansas City in the 1920s, their parents were all from other places in the 19th Century.

What do you want to know about me? My religious orientation? My love of travel? How I got into pickleball? It’s all on my blog and my podcast. But some I can link here.

When you get a chance, send me a note to tell me about yourself and how we can relate. Let’s put ‘social’ back in social media.
